About Ian
Ian is a well known photographer currently based in the beautiful city of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. He is mostly known for photographing his beautiful dog Molly (even though it’s not actually his dog) all over the city. When he’s not photographing Molly, he can be found hunting down great images of San Miguel and its incredible architecture and people.
Most of his images are taken around sunrise or sunset, although sunrise is his favorite time of day with great light but fewer people. Molly likes to bark at the hot air balloons if she stays home in the morning so she usually companies Ian on his early morning photo shoots just to keep the neighbors happy.
Ian was born and raised in England but spent most of his adult life being a ski bum and restauranteur in Colorado, USA. Once he realized he was getting too old for both, he began his travels again. He spends much of his time house and pet sitting all over the world. This gives him the opportunity to stay longer in one place so he can discover all the great photo opportunities that come along with it. Many of the animals that he cares for become his models for his photoshoots.
